NA Tax (Non-Agricultural Tax) levied on cooperative housing societies by the state government is likely to be abolished soon. Revenue Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil has assured that a decision in this regard will be taken before the end of the budget session.
MLAs and several housing associations demanded abolition of NA tax (non-agricultural tax).
The demand for abolition of non-agricultural tax is currently under consideration and the revenue department has prepared a report in this regard after talking to the persons in the field. So we will take a final decision in this regard soon, said Vikhe-Patil.
