Municipal Commissioner’s order to cut water supply to 216 dangerous buildings in Mumbai

A total of 216 buildings in Mumbai are in a very dangerous condition, Brihanmumbai Municipal Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal has ordered to cut off water supply to these buildings. The commissioner gave this order in a meeting organized to review the pre-monsoon works.
At this time, the Commissioner advised to vacate the dangerous buildings of C1 category. The commissioner instructed the concerned authorities to issue eviction notices to the residents of the dangerous buildings and make alternative arrangements for them.
