Great performance by Thane Police

: A special program was organized to return the stolen items on the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence Day. Officers of various police stations within the limits of police commissionerate of Thane district have been successful and (Great performance by Thane Polic) during this operation, the seized material was returned to the complainants by Deputy Commissioner of Police Avinash Ambure, Assistant Commissioner of Police Naupada Division Sonali Dhole, Assistant Commissioner of Police Kalwa Division Vinayak shinde has came. Thane Police Commissionerate organized a special program at Saiba Hall in Kalwa on Wednesday to return the items seized in various crimes. On this occasion, the complainants were returned the property belonging to them. On this occasion, the total value of Rs 58 lakh 89 thousand 569 seized by the police of Circle 1 from various crimes was returned to the complainant. It included valuables from 59 crimes such as gold chain theft, burglary, vehicle, mobile theft, while the Vartaknagar police under Circle One also returned more than Rs 35 lakh seized valuables to the complainants. Those items included 35 mobile phones, motorcycles, gold chains and cash.

The citizens who participated in this program were overflowing with joy as they got the stolen items back in their hands. On this occasion, senior police officers appealed to the citizens that if the citizens are alert, the incidents of theft will be prevented and the police will also be of great help. This material has been seized from the police station limits of Thanenagar, Naupada, Rabodi, Kalwa, Mumbra, Daighar and Vartaknagar.
