Excise department  service online, Facilitating work and decentralization of rights: Minister Bavankule

The facilitation and authority of these works has been decentralized in view of licensing of wine and the sale of alcohol and all services are made online. The transparency in the services provided by the excise department, according to the information charges, Chandrashekhar Bawankule said.

Permissions for liquor production industry, permission to overtime in industries, one-shift work in two arms, label approval and area clearance works are done locally. This does not require entrepreneurship to head office. This includes the permission to transport the carpets, export permission.
