Cyclone Biparjoy will intensify in the next three days and the impact of this cyclone will be felt in Mumbai, Palghar, Konkan coastal areas, the Meteorological Department said.
According to the Meteorological Department, there will be huge waves in the coastal areas of Maharashtra. Waves with gale-force winds are predicted on the coasts of Mumbai, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg.
Currently, this cyclone is moving over the coastal areas of Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra and Gujarat. Due to this, there will be heavy rains along with gale force winds in many districts of the coastal region, said the Meteorological Department.
