Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s interaction with students of Maharashtra stuck in Manipur-Arrangement of special flight to bring students to Maharashtra

Mumbai, Dt. 7 :
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde today contacted the students of Maharashtra who were stuck there due to the ongoing riots in Manipur over phone and gave them relief.
A special plane has been arranged to bring these stranded students back to Maharashtra and soon this plane will enter Maharashtra with 22 stranded students, Chief Minister Shinde said.
Many students from Maharashtra are studying in NITs and IITs of Manipur. Among them, Tushar Awad and Vikas Sharma, Chief Minister Shinde contacted them over the phone and assured them. In this regard, the Chief Minister has also directed the State Chief Secretary Manoj Saunik to contact the Chief Secretary and the Director General of Police of Manipur and request them to take care of the safety of the students.
After discussing with the students and getting complete information about the situation, Chief Minister Shinde has ordered the administration to arrange a special plane to bring back these students.
