An attractive selfie point in front of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Headquarters on the occasion of Women’s Day

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Parks Department of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has expressed gratitude in a unique way at the ‘Selfie Point’ in front of the Municipal Corporation Headquarters.
A replica of the heart has been created using flowers such as roses, shevanti, daisies and gypsophila. On the occasion of Women’s Day, this replica will be at the ‘selfie point’ throughout the day and till late in the evening, said Park Superintendent Jitendra Pardeshi.
Most of the flowers used to create this replica are from municipal gardens. Also the replica created is about 8 feet tall and 5 feet long. More than 500 roses and an equal number of Shevanti flowers have been used to create this replica. Pardeshi said that 10 bunches each of daisy and gypsophila flowers were used for this purpose.
