34 temples in Jalgaon district have decided to implement the dress code. The decision was taken after a meeting with Sunil Ghanwat, Coordinator of Maharashtra Temple Federation.
It was said that the dress code will be implemented in more than 34 temples including the famous Satapuda Niwasini Sri Manudevi temple in Jalgaon, Sri Balaji temple in Parola, Sri Padmalaya temple, Erandol in the coming week and other temples in Jalgaon district within the next three months.
Keshav Kshatriya, Trustee of Parola Balaji Temple, Neelkanth Chaudhary, Secretary of Satpuda Niwasini Manudevi Temple, Nandkumar Jadhav of Sanatan Sanstha, Legal Adviser of ‘Maharashtra Temple Federation’ and Former President of Maharashtra Goa Bar Council, Senior Lawyer Bharat Deshmukh, Jugal Kishore Joshi of Omkareshwar Temple, Jalgaon, Erandole Trustee of the ancient Sri Padmalaya Temple Dr. Pandurang Pingle also expressed his concern.
