A large number of workers laid off from the Indian office of Twitter, the major social media company
Twitter management on Friday announced massive layoffs of its subordinate employees in India after the world’s richest man Elon Musk bought social media company Twitter. Twitter is laying off its employees in several countries after Elon Musk bought the company.

According to media reports, Twitter has sacked its entire marketing and communication team in India. Apart from this, Twitter has fired most of its employees in India. Prior to this layoff, the company had more than 200 employees working in India.

Twitter has started laying off employees in India as part of a plan to reduce the workforce globally. Musk last week fired Twitter’s chief executive officer Parag Agarwal, as well as the chief financial officer and some other top executives. He did this soon after he acquired Twitter. After this many people in the top management resigned.
The Twitter office is closed on Sundays. When the office opens on Monday, it will be completely empty.
