Chief Minister Eknath Shinde asserted in Sindhudurg today that the focus is on overall development of Konkan, which is the tourism hub of Maharashtra. Chief Minister Shinde inaugurated various development works worth Rs. 110 crores in Sawantwadi city and Sawantwadi constituency. He was talking at that time.
Union Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Narayan Rane, Rural Development and Sports Minister Girish Mahajan, Industries Minister Uday Samant along with Konkan Divisional Commissioner Dr. Mahendra Kalyankar, Collector K. Manjulakshmi, Chief Executive Officer Prajit Nair, Superintendent of Police Saurabh Aggarwal, Representative Prashant Panvekar etc were present on this occasion.
Many projects are underway in the state to provide infrastructure to the people of the state. Chief Minister Shinde also said that Maharashtra is the only state with the largest number of infrastructure projects in the country.
Maharashtra is progressing rapidly and foreign investment of 1 lakh 14 thousand crores has come in Maharashtra during the period of this state government. Chief Minister Shinde expressed his belief that this investment will boost employment generation. bRane said that efforts should be made to increase per capita income for rapid development of Konkan. School Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar introduced Kesarkar.
