85 youths from Central Asian countries visited the Governor

According to the invitation given by Narendra Modi during the summit meeting with the heads of state of the Central Asian countries, a delegation of youth from four Central Asian countries has come to visit Mumbai. 85 youth of the delegation met Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari at Raj Bhavan on Sunday.

Organized by the Union Ministry of Youth Welfare and Sports and Nehru Yuva Kendra Association, this visit of youth to India includes youth from the fields of art, journalism, education, pharmaceutical manufacturing and administration from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
India is celebrating its Jubilee Year of Independence. Also, the Governor expressed happiness that the delegation is visiting India on the completion of thirty years of establishment of diplomatic relations with Central Asian countries. India is called ‘Hindustan’ and Central Asian countries also have the word ‘Stan’ in their names. Apart from this, the Governor said that there are similarities in many aspects between the two countries, even though the languages ​​and costumes are different, our human culture is one.

“On the first day we felt like guests when we arrived in Mumbai, but on the second day we feel like local ‘Mumbaikers'”, expressed the feeling of the members of the delegation.
On this occasion, the head of the delegation of Tajikistan Ingbardev Aslieddin, the head of the delegation of Kyrgyzstan Talaibek Berdiev, Kazakhstan Head of delegation Ulbolcin Orakbayeva and Head of Uzbekistan Youth Delegation Islom Okhunov as well as official of the Union Ministry of Youth Mohammad Naushad Alam were present. The Governor felicitated the heads of youth delegations of all the four countries by gifting mementos and pylons.
