50 KW solar power project started on the roof of ‘M West’ division office – 5000 units of energy will be produced per month*

Solar energy system has been installed on the roof of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation ‘M West’ Division Office. The electricity available from this will be used for the department office and approximately 5000 units of electricity will be generated every month. This will save electricity cost of about 42 thousand 500 rupees per month.
This information was given by Vishwas Mote, Assistant Commissioner of ‘M West’ Division.
93 solar energy panels (roof top solar system) have been installed in an area of about 2 thousand 100 square feet and this solar energy project has started from yesterday (April 28). The life span of this solar power plant is about 25 years. Sunil Tawde, Executive Engineer of ‘M West’ Division has expressed.
