3 Engineers Of Mumbai Municipal Corporation’s Arrested For Taking  2 Lakh Bribe

Whether the case is of Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation or the Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation, almost every week these officials or  employee of the following government departments are being arrested continuously while taking bribe, but despite the red handed arrests being  of these corrupt officials and employees, Neither  strict action nor is it sacked. That is why these corrupt people of these government departments  does not change there  habit of taking a bribe.

Today, on Thursday too, 3 engineers of Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation’s “K” Ward,  have been arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau, Mumbai for demanding Rs 6 lakh as a bribe and accepting Rs 2 lakh.

According to the information received, the complainant living in the same ward had sent proposal for the approval of the work of interior of his house in the municipal “K” ward. For this approval, the Executive Engineer of Mumbai Municipal Corporation Mahishi, Secondary Engineer Suryavanshi and Junior Engineer Dighavkar demanded six lakh rupees as a bribe. The matter of demand for bribe money settled at 4.50 lakh rupees and taking the same money from the complainant, anti-corruption squad arrested them read handed.
