10th and 12th answer sheets without scrutiny due to participation of teachers in strike

Teachers from secondary and junior colleges in the state have participated in the indefinite strike of state government employees. Around 50 lakhs of 10th and 80 lakhs of 12th answer sheets are pending due to teachers’ boycott of answer sheet verification.

The state government, semi-government employees have gone on an indefinite strike to demand implementation of the old pension scheme. As the teachers have also participated in the strike, the teachers have stopped the work of accepting the answer sheets and checking the answer sheets.
All this has affected the students of class 10th and 12th and it is being expressed that the result may be delayed.
