Three family members, including a woman, were injured when a part of the roof slab fell in a residential building on Friday morning. Family members lived on the first floor of the four-storey ‘Trimurti’ building in Natwar Nagar in suburban Jogeshwari.
The officer said that around 6 am, part of a roof slab on the second floor crashed, injuring him. The official said that the injured have been admitted to the nearest private hospital. “The woman has suffered serious injuries and is undergoing treatment in the ICU,” he said.
The official said that the other two male members of the family have been admitted to the general ward of the hospital. The reason for the slab fall is not yet known.
