Voter Can be registered Before completing 18 years of age
Mumbai – Until now, citizens who completed 18 years of age on or before January 1 could be registered in the electoral roll. However, now from 2023, youths who complete 18 years of age on or before the 1st of the months of January, April, July and October can be registered as voters.

The Election Commission of India has undertaken the ‘Special Brief Revision Program 2023’ to revise the electoral rolls. Under that, Suburban Collector’s Office organized a public awareness round. Collector Chauthary was speaking at the conclusion of Prabhat Feri.
Those who complete 18 years of age on January 1, 2023 will be registered as new voters and youth who complete 18 years of age by October 1, 2023 will be able to apply in advance for new voter registration. He also said that due to this, the youth will get the right to vote as soon as they reach the age of 18 years
