The Central Railway (CR) said that two Shramik special trains carrying more than 2,100 migrant workers left from Kalyan Junction at the neighboring railway station (CR) on Tuesday night.
The CR release stated that about 1,200 of them migrants were released in Darbhanga, Bihar. The release said that the end-to-end service went away at 8.37 pm after the Maharashtra government carried registered and enrolled passengers.
According to railway officials, the Shramikar Special train running from the other end left for Guntakal (Andhra Pradesh) at around 11 am carrying 930 migrants. Central Railways ran two labor special trains between Akola-Lucknow and Bhiwandi-Jaipur on Monday.
