Two Kalyan Manpa worker , taking 35 thousand bribe arrests, case is illegal construction

Two employees of the Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation have been arrested for taking illegal bribe of 35,000 rupees in lieu of breaking illegal construction. This action has been done by Thane’s Anti-Corruption Department

With the collusion of corrupt officials and employees in the Kalyan Municipal Corporation, thousands of illegal constructions have been continuing in the area and are still going on and in the month of every month, officials and employees of non-officials are constantly bribed by these illegal construction workers and are being treated by the Anti-Corruption Department Despite the arrests, neither illegal construction has stopped in its area nor is it the acceptance of bribe of Municipal employees August is closed.

The latest case is from Thursday May 23. Anti-Corruption Department, Thane has arrested Kalyan municipal senior clerk Prakash Murlidhar Patil and cleaning worker Rahul Kathod Gaikwad by taking illegal ammunition of thirty-five thousand rupees for bribe.

According to the NMC sources, for not breaking the illegal construction of the complainant, clerk Patil and the cleaning worker Gaikwad were demanding the amount from the complainant. The complaint was made to Thane’s Anti-Corruption Bureau, and under this, both the NMC personnel have been arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau for taking the thirty-five thousand rupees as cash bribe.

It is notable that every other third month, Kalyan Municipal officials and employees are arrested for taking such a bribe, but surprisingly neither anti-corruption bureau can properly present these cases in the court nor do they appear in these cases.
