November 4, i.e., yesterday Tuesday evening, was the last day for withdrawal of nominations in the Maharashtra Assembly elections. And after this, the election will be held among the candidates who are left in the election fray.

The original residents of Kalyan Rural Assembly constituency are people of Aagri community. But here, along with Marathi speaking people from other districts of the state, South Indian, Gujarati speaking voters, a large number of Hindi speaking voters also live.
This time, Vishwanath Dubey, a Hindi speaking Shiv Sena leader from the Shiv Sena Shinde faction and head of the Hindi Bhashi Janta Parishad, an organization very active among Hindi speaking people in Dombivali, had also staked his claim from here. MNS candidate Raju Patil has won from here once in a row, and is again in the fray to win again. Naturally, there is anti-incumbency against him among the voters.
Along with this, the citizens of this assembly constituency have had many problems for years. Raju Patil, who has been an MLA from here, has proved unsuccessful in resolving them. This is the allegation of the local citizens.
Subhash Bhoir, who was an MLA in the year 2014, had a good tenure during that time and that is why his image is still good in the minds of the people. He was also continuously trying to get the party ticket in the last two elections. This time the Shiv Sena Uddhav faction has once again shown faith in him. Mahayuti candidate Rajesh More is in the fray from here and he is also getting the support of BJP Dombivali Rural.
