Teen cuts 21 birthday cakes with sword, cops file FIR

MHB Colony police on Saturday registered an FIR against a Borivli teen under Arms Act after a video was posted on social media in which he celebrated his birthday by cutting 21 cakes with a sword on Friday.
A case was registered after the video was tagged by a scribe to Mumbai Police’s Twitter handle, along with the name of the person who showed him cutting the cake and the address. Police tracked the 17-year-old and served him a notice. “The minor committed the offence on Friday between 9pm-9.30pm. He was surrounded by friends with the cakes on a table. The video captured the minor slicing the cakes and celebrating his birthday,” said a police officer of MHB Colony.
On seeing the post, a police team searched for the minor.
