Security forces 12 hours after paid last respects to Jammu and Kashmir police constable Muhammad Saleem Shah, who was abducted by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district took the revenge in a grand manner. At least three terrorists were eliminated on Sunday by security forces after a fierce encounter that took place in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Notably, the three terrorists who were responsible for killing JK police constable Muhammad Saleem Shah were eliminated by security forces including CRPF, Indian Army and state police in Wani Mohalla area of Kulgam’s Khudwani village.
Security forces including a team of CRPF, Indian Army and state police launched a search operation after receiving specific inputs that the terrorists involved in the killing of the Kulgam police constable were hiding in the area. The search operation turned into a fierce encounter and three terrorists were eliminated safely.
The arms and ammunition including three AK-47 rifles and the body of all three terrorists have been recovered from the encounter spot. Of the three, one terrorist was associated with LeT (Lashkar-e-Taiba) and the two were locals.
Jammu and Kashmir’s Director General of Police, Shesh Paul Vaid in a series of tweet said, “Terrorists group that tortured our colleague CT Mohd Saleem of Kulgam & killed him brutally are all trapped in an encounter with J&K Police/Army/CRPF in Khudwani Kulgam.” “3 bodies of terrorists recovered with three weapons so far from encounter site,” he added in another tweet.
