Rahul Gandhi most eligible candidate for Prime Minister’s post: Veerappa Moily

Terming Congress President Rahul Gandhi as “Prime Minister material” senior Congress leader and former Union Minister M Veerappa Moily said that Rahul Gandhi will be the torch bearer of the anti-BJP coalition.

As quoted by PTI, the senior Congress leader hoped that the proposed grand alliance will accept the leadership of Mr. Gandhi. The former Karnataka Chief Minister lauded the efforts of Telugu Desam Party President Chandra Babu Naidu who is coordinating with the Non-BJP regional forces.

When asked about the prospects of Congress Party in upcoming assembly polls of five states, Moily opined that the grand old party will regain the lost turf with a thumping victory in all five states.

Refuting the reports of alleged tension among the members of grand alliance especially Samajwadi Party and Mayawati’s Bahujan Samaj Party, the Chikballapur Lok Sabha MP stated that united opposition will dethrone the BJP led Modi government at the center.
