Under this venture, Ola will provide assistance to the Telangana government in managing road traffic and congestion. The world’s largest ride-hailing firm will share intelligent data for better coordination and planning of traffic. Along with this, Ola Mobility Institute will design innovative tools to enhance the city-based transport planning and governance.
Ola will introduce the concept of dynamic mapping where the riding quality of various major roads in Hyderabad will be monitored through the network of vehicles operating on the Ola platform. This move will reduce accidents due to potholes. The technology will provide real-time details of the quality of road construction which will help the state government in formulating better road repair budget.
