Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday hit out at the government on the issue of unemployment, saying that it has “failed miserably” to generate employment for the country’s youth.
He said that Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman should not be afraid to answer the questions raised by the youth for whom the government is accountable.
Gandhi said in a tweet in Hindi, “Finance Minister, do not panic with my questions. I am asking these questions on behalf of the youth of the country, which is your responsibility to answer.”
“The youth of the country want employment and your government has failed miserably to provide them,” he said. The Congress leader used the hashtag “Jawabdo Mantriji” to make his point.
