Chennai: It seems that Makkal Needhi Maiam founder Kamal Haasan has changed his mind and decided to revisit party’s move on forthcoming Tamil Nadu assembly by-elections.
The actor turned politician in his recent media interaction said that Makkal Needhi Maiam is planning to contest 20 assembly segments. As quoted by PTI, the ace actor said, “Let us face it if that comes. Let us see when that happens,”
Earlier, the 63-year old leader openly admitted that his new outfit would not contest the by-polls in the coastal state. Tamil Nadu is set to witness 20 assembly by-election after the disqualification of 18 rebel AIADMK lawmakers by The Madras High Court.
