Kalyan East Constituency: Naveen Singh can be best’ Candidate for Congress

Only a few days are left for the Maharashtra Assembly elections to be announced. In such a situation, all the parties have started selecting their candidates. Interviews of interested candidates are also being conducted.

After reviewing all the equations, this time every party is preparing to reveal its cards. Like every time, this time also a one-time program is going on to woo the North Indian voters.

But apparently, no strong North Indian is getting a ticket anywhere. Due to which this time also North Indians are feeling cheated.

If we talk about Kalyan East Assembly constituency, then Kalyan East Assembly constituency in Thane district is the only such assembly constituency. Where the maximum number of North Indian voters live. In a way, Kalyan East has become a small Uttar Pradesh.

Along with the local Marathi speaking voters, North Indian voters also play a decisive role here. This is the reason that at one time the maximum number of North Indian councilors were elected from here in Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation.

After that, all the political parties ignored the North Indians for some unknown reason. It was on the strength of North Indians that Ganpat Gaikwad was elected MLA twice as an independent candidate from Kalyan East. After this, he joined the BJP.

Due to joining the BJP, Ganpat Gaikwad’s vote share decreased but he won. North Indians living in Kalyan East are basically Congress supporters.

But Congress gave ticket to the veteran North Indian leader Dr. R.B. Singh only once. He was defeated in the election. The reason for this is said to be the internal conflict among North Indians at that time.

At present, North Indian voters living in Kalyan East Assembly constituency are looking at Naveen Singh as their candidate. Naveen Singh has been a former corporator from here. Apart from this, he has been a successful social worker, builder and an office bearers of Congress up to the state level and is still an office bearers in the state.

He is also in good tuning with Rahul Gandhi. Also, he has worked hard in the construction of North Indian Bhawan located in Kalyan East. As an corporator, he raised many issues in the house about the inconveniences of Kalyan East Assembly constituency in the Municipal Corporation.

The current BJP MLA in Kalyan East Assembly constituency is in jail for attempted murder due to personal rivalry. In his place, his wife Sulabha Gaikwad is preparing to contest the election as an independent.

Congress’s District President Sachin Pote is also staking claim from here. Whereas as a North Indian youth leader, many North Indian voters are considering Naveen Singh as their leader.

In such a situation, if Congress wants to capture this seat, then it will be beneficial to put forward Naveen Singh’s name. Overall, only North Indian voters can prove to be decisive in Kalyan East Assembly constituency.
