Goa CM Manohar Parrikar chairs cabinet meeting at his house

Panaji: Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar held a cabinet meeting at his residence in Taleigao near Panaji on Tuesday. The meeting was attended by cabinet ministers including PWD minister Sudin Dhavlikar; town and country planning Minister Vijai Sardesai; and panchayat minister Mauvin Godinho.

Dhavlikar said issues related to state IT policy and PWD engineers’ remuneration, among others, were discussed in the meeting. Godinho informed that CM Parrikar gave his valuable suggestions on various issues.

On Tuesday, CM Parrikar had chaired a meeting of the state investment promotion board at his residence.

“His health is good. He has chaired the meeting effectively. We have held a one-on-one and a half-hour group meeting, that itself tells of the health status of the chief minister. He has given certain directions on what needs to be done, based on how we need to go about. These types of meetings will be held continuously,” minister of information technology Rohan Khaunte said.
