India is one of the most important member countries in the United Nations. PM Narendra Modi’s presence in the United Nations is always appreciated by the whole world. Now, after re-election, PM Narendra Modi is expected to visit the United States in September for the upcoming UN general assembly meetings.

During this meeting, he will usual interactions at the world body and other leaders on the sidelines, he is likely to address Indian Americans at an event in Houston, Houston.
The United Nations, in a statement issued on Friday, said that the 74th Session of the UNGA will commence on Sept. 17, 2019.
This will be PM Modi’s third UNGA as Prime Minister and his first since President Donald Trump took office in 2017.

What is known so far is that the Prime Minister will meet and address Indian Americans Houston this time, on September 22, after New York and San Jose on previous visits.
It is also worth noting, this year, the PM will address the UNGA for the 2nd time, his first being in Sept. 2014 after he came to power for the 1st time. Since then, the UNGA meetings were attended by former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
