Don’t have any ambition of Chief Ministership: Union Minister Purshottam Rupala

Rubbishing reports about his elevation as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Union Minister Purshottam Rupala said that rumors are being spread to destabilize the BJP government under the leadership of Vijay Rupani.
Speaking to the media, the former state BJP President mentioned that he does not have any ambition of chief ministership and dubbed the media reports as mere gossips. Purshottam Rupala is a prominent Patidar face of BJP. Rupala was the member of Narendra Modi Cabinet in Gujarat.
Earlier, Patidar leader Hardik Patel’s comments on change of guard in the state had triggered the controversy in the state. He speculated that Chief Minister Rapani would be replaced by a Patidar leader. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani had categorically refuted the statement of Patel.
