CM Devendra Fadnavis and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari performed Bhumipujan for numerous National Highway projects in Nanded district at Loha. MP Raosaheb Patil Danve and other leaders were present on this occasion.

CM Devendra Fadnavis spoke on immense efforts by GoM for the welfare of farmers, towns, cities and citizens by #JalYuktShivar , GalMukta Dharan-GalYukta Shivar, Nanaji Deshmukh Krishi Sanjivani Yojna, making cities and villages ODF, water supply, roads and other facilities.

674 villages are water neutral due to #JalYuktShivar in Nanded dist & water level increases to 5.60m from 0.80m.
Number of tankers reqd has come down to just 25 from 400.
Great that Nanded constructed 2,00,000 toilets in 1 year & played major role in making rural Maharashtra ODF. We are happy because now farmers are able to take 3 crops in a year due to #JalYuktShivar. Rabi crop increased by 75%. We are also working hard to provide better water facilities to entire Marathwada. We are committed to provide housing to every homeless by 2019. In the last 67 years, only 5000 km National Highways got constructed in Maharashtra and now 15,000 km highways constructed in just 3.5 years.
