Aniksha Jaisinghani remanded in police custody till March 21

Aniksha Jaisinghani was arrested for threatening Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’ wife Amrita Fadnavis. Mumbai Sessions Court has remanded Aniksha Jaisingha to police custody till March 21.
Aniksha demanded a ransom of Rs 10 crore from Amrita Fadnavis. Also, the police claimed in the court that this entire conspiracy was planned to implicate Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis in the case.
The police had also requested the court to give Aniksha seven days of police custody for questioning. The court, however, remanded Aniksha to police custody till March 21.
In this case, Amrita Fadnavis had filed a complaint at Malabar Hill Police Station on February 20.
