Akshay Kumar releases poster and teaser of his new film ‘Gold’: Releasing this Independence Day
This Independence Day, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is going to hit big screens with his new film ‘Gold.’
Gold is an upcoming historical sports drama film directed by Reema Kagti and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the Excel Entertainment banner. It stars Mouni Roy, Kunal Kapoor, Vineet Kumar Singh, Amit Sadh, Sunny Kaushal. It is a fictional story set on the backdrop of true incidents about India winning its first gold medal in field hockey as a free nation in the 1948 Summer Olympics.
Television actor Mouni Roy is making her Bollywood debut opposite Akshay Kumar in Gold. At a recent event in Mumbai, she revealed that she got goosebumps after seeing the Gold poster. She also added that since Gold is her first full-fledged Hindi film, every aspect of it is special to her.

Trailer of ‘Gold’ is scheduled to be released on June 25.
