Adding chapters of strong India’s political dimensions, PM Modi holds bilateral meeting with BIMSTEC leaders

The will of 1.3 billion voices in one solemn moment, Narendra Modi was sworn in as the Prime Minister scripting the golden chapter of New India. Signifying great importance and extending vows of friendship, the BIMSTEC nation leaders added perfect bliss to the event.

Right after the swearing in ceremony of the Prime Minister and his Council of Ministers was signed off, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held his first bilateral talk with Kyrgyz President, Sooronbay Jeenbekov. Focussing strongly on Neighbours First policy, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday, hold meetings with BIMSTEC nation leaders enhancing the already strong bilateral relations.

In the first of a series of bilateral meetings with foreign leaders lined up, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a warm meeting with President of Sri Lanka Maithripala Sirisena, at Hyderabad House in New Delhi. The External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said the two leaders discussed bilateral issues of interest.

Fortifying personal connection, Prime Minister of Mauritius, Pravind Jugnauth had a good meeting with PM Narendra Modi. The two leaders exchanged views on a range of bilateral issues, including development cooperation. PM Jugnauth was the Chief Guest at the Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas earlier this year.

In his meeting with Kyrgyzstan President Sooronbay Jeenbekov, PM Modi’s talks covered the full spectrum of bilateral ties between our nations and ways to deepen economic and social cooperation in the times to come.
