Taking a serious note of actress Sruthi Hariharan’s shocking #Metoo account on veteran actor Arjun Sarja, Karnataka State Women’s Commission has summoned Sarja over the alleged charges of sexual assault.
Kannada film dome was stunned by Hariharan’s accusation on Arjun Sarja where she accused Sarja of inappropriate behavior on the sets of the movie Vismaya. October 20, the actress took to social media platforms and slammed Arjun Sarja for his objectionable behavior.
As quoted by Deccan Herald, Karnataka State Women’s Commission head Nagalakhsmi Bai directed City Cops to look into the details of Sruthi Hariharan’s allegations on the veteran artist. The state Commission has asked Sruthi Hariharan to submit the detailed reports and evidence against Arjun Sarja.
On Saturday, taking a legal recourse against Sarja, the 29-year actress officially registered a case against the ‘Action King’ at Bengaluru’s Cubbon Park police station.
Meanwhile, irked with Hariharan’s accusation, Arjun Sarja filed a defamation suit of Rs 5 Crore and refuted the allegations leveled by his co-actress.
