A statue of Sachin Tendulkar will be erected in the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, said Mumbai Cricket Association President Amol Kale while talking to media representatives.
The statue will be unveiled during the upcoming One Day World Cup. Kale also said that Sachin Tendulkar played his last international match on November 14, 2013 at the Wankhede Stadium.
There is currently a spectator gallery named after Sachin Tendulkar at the Wankhede Stadium.
