33 accused have been booked in connection with the firing of two groups at the entrance of Anandnagar Industrial Estate in Ambernath (East) on November 13.

Gurunath Pandharinath Phadke, Pandharinath Jagan Phadke and their accomplices intercepted Patil’s vehicle and opened fire on him while Rahul Patil was traveling in a private vehicle with his colleagues to discuss the bullock cart race organized at Bohnoli village.A case was registered in Shivajinagar police station against Gurunath Pandharinath Phadke, Pandharinath Jagan Phadke and their accomplices for destroying other vehicles accompanying the plaintiff by firing bullets and trying to kill them. A total of 10 accused were arrested in this crime while 23 were absconding.
