Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Wednesday met the family of Martyred Jawan Aurangzeb in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district and extended her condolences. He said, “I request PM Modi to take strict action and not show any weakness with regard to Kashmir and clean up all those bad people as quickly as possible.”
He further added that the terrorists who have infiltrated Kashmir should be eliminated without spreading bloodshed in the region. “Kashmir is ours and we should not destroy it, but drive out terrorists who have infiltrated here,” he concluded.
After the meet, while talking to the media, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said, “I came to meet martyr’s family. I have spent some time here. One message I can take back from here is that here’s a family, here’s a martyr, who stands out as an inspiration for us and that is the message that I am carrying from here.”
