Train services through Nagercoil-Thiruvanananthapuram disrupted following landslip
Train services through the Nagercoil-Thiruvanananthapuram section have been disrupted following a landslip between Kuzhithurai and Eraniel stations.
Trains 16128 Guruvayur-Chennai-Egmore Express, 16382 Kanniyakumari-Mumbai CSMT Express, 15906 Dibrugarh-Kanniyakumari Vivek Express and 19424 Gandhidham-Tirunelveli Humsafar Express are delayed owing to the landslip.

Trains 56318 Nagercoil-Kochuveli passenger and 56317 Kochuveli-Nagercoil passenger have been cancelled.
Trains 56311 Thiruvananthapuram-Nagercoil passenger has been cancelled beyond Kuzhithurai-Nagercoil and Train 56310 Nagercoil-Thiruvananthapuram passenger between Nagercoil-Kuzhithurai.
Train 56304 Nagercoil-Kottayam passenger is being terminated at Thiruvananthapuram central. In the Kollam-Punalur-Senkotta section, rail traffic will remain suspended due to adverse weather.

In the Thiruvananthapuram-Thrissur section, trains are running late owing rising water level in rivers/lakes and speed restriction on certain river bridges. Railway engineering department is constantly monitoring safety of bridges round the clock, a Southern Railway release said.
