Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday urged students and youth to join him at Rajghat to protest against “hatred and violence spread by Modi and Shah” and show that they will not allow India to be “destroyed by hatred”.
“Dear students and youth of India, it is not enough to just make India feel. Sometimes it is important to show them like you are India and will not let India be destroyed by hate. “Join me today at 3 pm at Raj Ghat to protest against the hatred and violence perpetrated on India by Modi and Shah,” he said on Twitter.
Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also appealed to the people at Rajghat to join the fight to “save this fight” of the Constitution.
“This country is a collective bond, a collective dream. We have nourished this land with labor.”
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said in a tweet in Hindi, “We have to divide the country and save it from the politics of rule. Let us join the Bapu memorial at Rajghat at 3 pm.”
