India being the world’s largest producer of milk and second largest producer of fruits and vegetables. Every year on the occasion of Mahashivratri, millions of devotees pour milk on Shivling and gallons of milk gets wasted.

On the land where 42%of the children are underweight , 5000 children die every day due to preventable diseases and about 47% of adolescent girls in India are undernourished. It’s a land where families sleep hungry at night and we are wasting foods, litres of milk or honey.

As usual millions of devotees will pour milk on Lord Shiva Lingas and again millions of litres of milk will be wasted. Is this really a humanity?

Pouring milk on shiv lingam is not a problem, but letting it flow as a waste is the real problem.
