New Delhi: Women and Child Development Minister Maneka Gandhi today assured that strict action will be taken against those who are involved in the heinous crime of sexual harassment.
As quoted by India Today responding to the charges on MoS and veteran journalist M J Akbar, the Minister stated that respective investigative agencies will take necessary action in order to address the plights of the women.
Earlier, Lauding the efforts of women for voicing against the social evil, Maneka said #MeToo movement will shatter the ugly characters of men who are in power and position. The Minister also launched a digital redressal platform to register official plea against the sexual harassment at workplace.
