The state of Chhattisgarh which was born during the era of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee has decided to pay its tributes to its creator by naming several places after him. CM Dr. Raman Singh has taken this decision during the cabinet meeting.
Naya Raipur will now be known as Atal Nagar. Along with that Bilaspur University will also be named after Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Simultaneously, the name of Narrow Gauge, Express Way will also be named after Atal Ji. Rajnandgaon Medical College will also be named after Atal ji.
Along with this, a memorial will be built in memory of Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Naya Raipur too.
Recently the Jharkhand government is considering planning and memorial in memory of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji so that the next generation can know about him, his thoughts. Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that the revered Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji is the father of Jharkhand. If he wasn’t there, then Jharkhand was not able to be a separate state. Now it is the duty of 30 million people in the state and the state government that they should do something special for him.
