Another woman found burnt in Shamshabad, after Priyanka Reddy rape case

The frequent incidents of vandalism across the country are shocking. Two days after the gang-rape and murder of a vet in the Shamshabad area on the outskirts of Hyderabad, police on Friday recovered the burned body of a woman there. Police suspect that it may be a case of suicide. The body has not yet been identified.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Ashok Kumar Gaur said that some passers-by saw the burnt body and informed them. The victim is reportedly 35 years old. His body was found on Sidkulgutta Road in the Shamshabad area.

It was not clear whether the woman committed suicide by setting herself on fire or was killed, Goud said. At least four suspects were arrested on Friday on charges of gang rape and murder of a 22-year-old veterinarian whose body was found near the city of Shadnagar on Thursday night.

Just hours after the Cyberabad Police arrested four persons in connection with the rape and murder case of a Telangana veterinary doctor, another charred body of a woman was found in the same area. The dead body was found near a temple at a deserted place. The victim is reportedly 35 years old. Her body was found on Siddulagutta road in the Shamshabad area. Her body has been moved to a government hospital for an autopsy. It is to be established if the woman was sexually assaulted.
