The Reliance group of industries, headed by Anil Ambani had earlier too sent a Rs 1,000 crore defamation notice to Mumbai Congress president Sanjay Nirupam for making “false and baseless” allegations against the company and demanded an apology within 72 hours after the receipt of the notice.
