With back-to-back hits film, Amitabh Bachchan made his Bollywood debut in 1969 with the film Saat Hindustani. 50 years in the Hindi film industry and the megastar is still going strong.
however, Amitabh feels that he must retire from films. He expressed the same on his personal blog. Recently, Amitabh traveled to Manali to join Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor for Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra.
Talking about his retirement, “Amitabh wrote on his personal blog, “thank you all those stopovers on the way here .. a ride of almost 12 hours by car on roads under repair and roads of great smoothness and finesse .. .. other new environs and another readjustment to the room and its accouterments..”
However, the blog post ended on a somewhat cryptic note, Bachchan wrote: “I must retire .. the head is thinking something else and the fingers another .. its a message..”
Amitabh completed his 50 years in the industry on November 7 and his son Abhishek Bachchan took to Instagram to celebrate the same. He wrote, “Not just as a son, but as an actor and a fan… We are all blessed to witness the greatness! There is so much to admire, to learn and even more to appreciate. Several generations of cinema lovers get to say we lived in the times of BACHCHAN!!! Congratulations Pa on completing 50 years in the Film industry. We now await the next 50! Love you.”
However, Amitabh has about ten projects yet. It will take him some time to complete all the films. At the same time, a large number of people had reached Naggar to get a glimpse of Big B, but they were disappointed due to the fans being kept away from the shooting venue.t
